There is no element of our business more critical than ensuring that transaction data is always kept secure.
Transaction security
All transactional data passed between merchant sites and Skypay is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. Nothing you present to Skypay can be seen or modified by any third parties and no cardholder information ever appears in an unencrypted form.
Data Storage/Encryption
The data we hold is fully encrypted and we are rigorously audited by the banking authorities to ensure that remains the case.
Links to banks
All cardholder information sent to the banks and all authorisation messages returned are secure and encrypted.
Employee access
Skypay staff are not able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Our systems allow limited access to our most senior staff and then only in extreme circumstances (such as criminal investigations of Card Fraud). Your transaction information and customer card information is hidden from Skypay employees simply because our systems never display whole card numbers, even on administrative screens.
